PresenTense is a grassroots organization that builds the Jewish Community’s next generation of pioneers by equipping them with the tools and networks they need to change the world and inspire the Jewish People.
We are inviting social entrepreneurs who are passionate about social change and the Jewish people to apply to the 2010 PresenTense Summer Institute in Jerusalem.
The Summer institute is looking to sponsor individuals with education-related social venture in Israel. The project must educate in the theme of Israel; while any type of medium can be employed, covering such topics as modern Israeli culture, history, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and unique Israeli communities.
Accepted applicants will receive a full scholarship and are welcome to apply for a needs-based stipend to cover additional living expenses. During the six week program at the Summer Institute you will learn the skills necessary to make your idea for social change in the Jewish Community a reality!
We offer specialized courses and will match you with mentors who will guide you to make your venture successful, and, of course, provide the opportunity to NETWORK with like minded people from around the world who are excited and dedicated individuals just like you!
Applicants should apply with an early stage idea for a social venture by February 15th.
