PresenTense Fellowship

PresenTense was inspired by the pioneering era of the Zionist movement...

The PresenTense Institute is built upon the model of the training programs around the world during the pioneering age of the Zionist movement, where individuals who sought to change their future came together to build creative communities where they would prepare for the hard work ahead.

Likewise, the PresenTense Institute is both a bootcamp and a haven for social entrepreneurs—a place where new ideas and skills can be acquired, and new relationships forged to help on the challenging road ahead.

The PresenTense Institute is located in Jerusalem because it believes the Jewish People have an obligation to transform the State of Israel into an inspiration. Inspired by the vision of Zionist thinkers across the ideological spectrum such as Ahad Ha’am, AD Gordon, Martin Buber and Ze’ev Jabotinsky, who foresaw Israel as the laboratory for improvement of the human condition, PresenTense works to connect social entrepreneurs to this age-old quest to realize the mission of the Jewish People in the world.
